My name is Anna Deekeling, I was born and raised in Germany and currently living in Tokyo, Japan. I have been here for over 5 years now - coming as a student, staying for work.
Since living in Japan I improved my Japanese to a fluent, yet far from perfect, level. I also speak German and English fluently.
Right now I am working as assistant producer for a Japanese design agency, focusing on web design and graphic shootings.
Before that I have been working in a small Japanese fashion company in charge of all things media, interned at a marketing company, at Lufthansa Osaka, at a German local newspaper, at a German national TV station… you get the idea.
In addition I majored in Peacebuilding during my master's degrees in Tokyo, rewarded with top marks and additional academic publications.
While I might not have one specific focus point, I enjoy all things writing - copy, concept, strategy and so on.
